Golden Lane Housing (GLH) has launched its brand new training session raising awareness of learning disabilities and autism this Autism Acceptance Month.
Earlier this week, colleagues from different teams took part in the very first Knowing Our Tenants training, which has been co-designed with GLH tenants.
From myth-busting to paper aeroplane racing, the training was fun, interactive and most importantly, reflected the voices of our tenants. A big thank you to our fantastic involved tenants, Stephen and Chloe, for sharing their stories and co-delivering the training.

This programme has been co-designed with our tenants, shaped by what matters most to them, and co-delivered to ensure their voices remain at the heart of everything we do.
“The day was full of energy, laughter, and interactive activities that kept everyone engaged including a paper aeroplane race – proof that learning really can be fun!

“We’re excited to build on this momentum, with more sessions coming soon.
Following the success of the first session, the training programme will be rolled out for more colleagues to get involved in.
