Chris retired as a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in December 2012. He spent the past seven years with PwC in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), where he was a partner in the Governance, Risk and Compliance practice and also established for the first time a dedicated Financial Services Consulting practice, initially in Russia and then across the 29 countries of the CEE Region.
In Moscow Chris also served as chair of the Insurance and Pensions Committee of the Association of European Businesses, the leading business lobbying group. He was previously a partner in PwC’s Paris office, where he established the successful and fast growing Forensic Services practice, specialising in risk management and fraud investigation.
Chris is married with three daughters, the eldest of whom has Down’s syndrome. He is a former national treasurer of the Down’s Syndrome Association in the UK and was an active supporter of Downside Up in Russia.
Chris has been a trustee of Golden Lane Housing since 2012.
