Golden Lane Housing has said a fond farewell to Rod Dugher, Director of Housing and Tenant Experience, who starts his well-earned retirement after 23 years of dedicated service.
Rod joined Golden Lane Housing in 2002 and has played a key role in shaping our housing and tenant experience services. Over more than two decades, he helped strengthen tenant voice, improve service quality, and ensure homes and services meet the needs of people with a learning disability and autistic people.
Reflecting on his time at Golden Lane Housing, Rod said: “I’ve had lots of kind messages over the last few weeks, and it has been nice to see people and have lots of great conversations reflecting on working at Golden Lane Housing. I’ve been privileged and fortunate to work at Golden Lane Housing. I’ve always focused on providing safe housing for people with learning disabilities and autistic people. We’ve always put our tenants at the heart of everything we do, and I know Golden Lane Housing will continue to do that.”
Following Rod’s departure, Paul Knight has been appointed as Interim Director of Housing and Tenant Experience. Paul brings with him brings a wealth of experience to the role, across general needs, independent living and supported housing , as well as regulatory inspection experience. He will oversee the directorate and ensure that all services continue to operate smoothly.
