A non-urgent repair is one that doesn’t pose an immediate risk to your safety or cause serious damage to your home.
Where possible we’ll arrange an appointment at a time that’s convenient for you.
Examples of non-urgent repairs:
- Leaking gutters or rainwater pipes
- Broken fence panels
- Fitting new internal doors or replacing door hinges and repairing handrails
- Installing new taps or re-sealing baths and sinks as well as fixing small leaks
How to report a repair
Do it online through our repairs portal.
Our tool will take you through your repair and help you to tell us about it in more detail as well as uploading photos of your repair.
You can also report a non-urgent repair by:
- Email propertyservices@glh.org.uk
- Call us between 9am and 5pm on 0300 003 7007 and select option 1.
When you contact us to report a repair we’ll ask for a few details so we can understand the problem and get it fixed as quickly as possible.
Please tell us:
- Your full name and address
- If you’re calling on behalf of a tenant, you will need to tell us who you are and your relationship to them
- Details of the repair for example, my bathroom sink cold tap is leaking water slightly and is difficult to turn off.
- How we can access your home
- If there are any special circumstances we need to know about you or someone in your home. This helps us to reduce any disruption and avoid delays to getting your repair completed.
