We’re thrilled that Nigel Litten, planned programme manager has been shortlisted for a Housing Heroes Award 2017 in the category Inspirational leader of the year (under 5,000 stock).
These awards recognises the hard work staff do every day and celebrates the ‘unsung heroes’ of the housing world.
Nigel leads a team of five surveyors who nationally deliver an annual planned programme in the region of £1 million. He’s responsible for the delivery of the planned a major works across the portfolio and supports on adaptations and development works. Nigel also provides property expertise across Mencap by managing planned works across Mencap owned registered care and supported living services.
Nigel is passionate about helping people with a learning disability, regularly going the extra mile to find the right solution to meet a person’s needs. He’s a real team player, sharing his vast knowledge and experience across GLH and Mencap.

The awards are jointly organised by Inside Housing and the Chartered Institute of Housing and the celebration will be held with the Opening Ceremony for Housing 2017.
