Felicity Ford, development officer has won Golden Lane Housing’s SPOT (Special Presentation of Thanks) Award this quarter.
This award is given to a member of staff that has been recognised for going beyond their role to make a difference to the lives of people with a learning disability, their support networks and staff they work with.
Felicity’s dedication and commitment enabled us to provide the right housing for five single people in Stockport. Her professional approach with the individuals and families gave them support and reassurance throughout their journey. By building good relationships with the landlords ensured the properties were secured and each person’s move was a great success.
“I’ve worked at Golden Lane Housing for almost seven years now and I still pinch myself everyday at how lucky I am to work with such an amazing group of people who care passionately about what we do for our tenants.
This is the first time I have ever won an award in the workplace and I feel immensely proud to have won the Golden Lane Housing staff award.
Working as part of the Development team and seeing the difference we make to people’s lives makes the hard work worthwhile,” Felicity Ford, development officer.
