Philip is the chief executive of regional charity Autism West Midlands, a charity that provides social care and family support to children, families and adults on the autistic spectrum with and without a learning disability.
Prior to this Philip worked for eight years as a development director for a learning disability support provider that specialised in supported living particularly for those with complex needs. He was the lead on many new developments that supported people to move from assessment and treatment units or hospitals and NHS campuses to move to live in the community.
Prior to this he worked at senior level in development and fundraising roles in the charitable sector particularly for disadvantaged groups and as a strategy manager within local government.
Philip has had an association with learning disabilities for nearly two decades both professionally and personally.
