Lorraine Ford

Lorraine is an area manager at the Greater London Authority. She leads GLA relationship management with a range of housing providers and London boroughs to deliver new affordable homes which meet the needs of Londoners.  She works with and supports housing providers to initiate new schemes, advising them on GLA investment programmes, working with them to resolve viability and investment challenges, and then managing a portfolio of live projects which GLA supports.

Lorraine has extensive and varied experience in the public sector, having worked in central and local government and universities. She has also worked in the private sector, most recently for the British Retail Consortium, both in London and Brussels.

She has a long-standing interest in the interaction between the public, private and third sectors, seeking to understand and support effective and sustainable cross-sector collaborations that deliver public value.

She has a niece with a learning disability.
