Jason Ridley was appointed a Golden Lane Housing non-executive director and Chair of the Risk and Audit Committee in December 2024.

He is an Australian Chartered Accountant and Chartered Governance professional who, in his career has held senior posts within Private Sector national and international firms. Since relocating from Australia to the UK in 1997 Jason has held several non-executive roles within the Social Housing and Charitable sectors as well as working as a senior executive within the Social Housing Sector since 2011 where he is currently Director of Finance & IT at Leeds Federated Housing Association.

As well as his role at Golden Lane Housing Jason is a board member and Chair of Audit & Risk Committee at Salix Homes and provides mentoring and training support for board trainees through the Housing Diversity Network.

Jason lives in Manchester with his wife and daughter who has a dual diagnosis of Down Syndrome and Autism and has a son working for the NHS in London.
