Brendan is a relationship manager at The Housing Finance Corporation, a community benefit society which specialises in lending to the social housing sector with £7.5 billion of loans.
During his career, he has been general manager of a small UK-registered bank and senior credit officer at Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore. He has been lending to housing associations for approximately 20 years. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, has a diploma in Financial Studies (a postgraduate-level qualification) and a degree in maths and management sciences.
He has been a treasurer at the Institute of War and Peace Reporting, a media charity operating in crisis zones around the world, a treasurer of the local school’s Parent Teachers Association and a loans officer at the St Alban’s District Credit Union.
He is married with four children and has an older sister who has a learning disability.
