Golden Lane Housing’s in-house repairs team has won an award for the Best Repairs and Maintenance Scheme in The Northern Housing Awards 2018.
The awards promote and celebrate innovative affordable housing providers, projects and services in the North that are helping to create great communities where people love to live.
In 2015, Golden Lane Housing changed the shape of its repairs service by self-delivering. Despite the huge challenges, we’ve have achieved a total turnaround in delivering repairs which put tenants at the centre. Since we set up the service, customer satisfaction has increased from 74% to 98% for the in-house team.

The team has gone from strength to strength delivering the right repairs service to our tenants. We have a dedicated team who provide a personalised service and through our proactive approach we’ve made cost savings which have been reinvested into our properties.
