Golden Lane Housing (GLH) has been awarded the highest rating following an In-Depth Assessment by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) in our first year of being a Registered Provider.
In January 2015 we became a Registered Provider of social housing in England and we are regulated by the Homes and Communities Agency. During their annual In-Depth Assessment they looked at five areas that determined the rating for governance and financial viability. We were graded 1 in both areas, which is their highest rating.
Neil McCall, Chair of the Board of Trustees at GLH, explains, “We are truly delighted with the rating given by The Homes and Communities Agency, who were very professional in their approach. I think that they were impressed by the knowledge and experience of our staff team and board and they were impressed with the passion that everyone in GLH has for people with a learning disability.”
Rod Dugher, Head of Housing at GLH says, “We are absolutely thrilled to have achieved the top rating of G1 (Governance) and V1 (Financial Viability) following our recent In-Depth Assessment by the Homes and Communities Agency. It’s a brilliant achievement that reflects the dedication and passion of our Trustees and staff team to making a positive difference to the lives of people with a learning disability.”
The Homes and Community Agency have published the results on their website.
