Melissa joined Golden Lane Housing in 2008 as business development manager having previously worked for a private house developer in the same role. Melissa started her career with a private builder; she moved into social housing in 1994 and spent 13 years working in development for two large registered social landlord’s before moving back to the private sector.
Melissa was appointed to the role of property services manager in 2009 and has overseen a full stock condition survey, the development of GLH’s ten year asset management plan and launched GLH’s own in-house repairs and maintenance contractor, Resolve Solutions. She has developed a maintenance service that meets the particular needs and demands of our client group.
Melissa also took an active role in the acquisition and subsequently led on the installation and implementation of a new housing IT software package to support all functions within GLH to make continuous improvement in the services and support we offer to our tenants. Melissa now leads the property and customer services functions within Golden Lane Housing and has been a member of the executive team since 2008.
