Golden Lane Housing shortlisted in the Smiley Charity Film Awards 2024

The Smiley Charity Film Awards return this year to share some of the most powerful and emotive charity stories of the year.

As the world’s largest campaign promoting cause-based films, the awards shares video campaigns with millions of viewers, spotlighting charities tackling the most pressing issues of our time and we’re extremely proud that our film ‘We Are Golden Lane Housing’ has been shortlisted.

The film was debuted on 27th September 2023 at the Emirates Stadium in Manchester as the organisation celebrated 25 years of providing good quality homes for people with a learning disability and autistic people.

The Communications and Marketing Team at GLH worked closely with social purpose driven media and design agency Maxmedia Communications to turn GLH’s vision into a compelling and emotive film.

John Verge, Chief Executive said, ‘The film captures the essence of what GLH is all about. Our vision, our tenants, our people, our partnerships and how the right to a happy home is transformational.

We’re a leading provider of homes for people with a learning disability and it’s the dedication, care and drive of the people who work for the organisation and in partnership with us that continues to make the difference and has done for the last 25 years’.

The next stage of the awards is open to public voting.
