The Regulator of Social Housing has reconfirmed Golden Lane Housing’s regulatory grading of G1 for governance and V2 for financial viability, in its latest regulatory judgement published on 15^th November 2023.

Commenting on the grading John Verge, Chief Executive of Golden Lane Housing, said: “I am really pleased we have retained our rating, which shows that we meet our regulator’s governance requirements, and our viability remains strong. The judgement reaffirms Golden Lane Housing is well placed to respond to external financial pressures and continue to invest in new and existing homes for people with learning disabilities and autistic people across the country.”

The judgement has been published following a Stability Check which focuses on providers’ financial resilience from assessing their most recent Business Plan and annual accounts, and consider changes to their risk profile, including external economic factors beyond their control.
