Triodos Bank has partnered SharedImpact bringing more opportunities to invest in the Second Offer of the Golden Lane Housing bond.
Triodos Bank has partnered with SharedImpact to provide an opportunity for both individuals and corporates to allow charitable donations to be invested in the Second Offer of the Golden Lane Housing Bond (which is open until 28 June 2013). Donors wishing to participate in this way will need to open a SharedImpact Donation Account. Further details are available at www.sharedimpact.org
SharedImpact is a UK registered charity which operates a donor-advised fund, allowing investors to attract tax relief on their money which can then be used to make loans to charities and other qualifying social investments. Last week, the Second Offer of the Golden Lane Housing Bond launched on the SharedImpact platform.
Whitni Thomas, investor relations manager at Triodos, says: “We are delighted that individual donors and corporate foundations will now be able to deploy their philanthropic capital into the Golden Lane Housing Bond through the SharedImpact platform.”
Paul Cheng, chair of SharedImpact, says: “We appreciate that many individuals and companies wish to put their donations into the Golden Lane Housing Bond as they recognise the significant social impact that this extraordinary social enterprise is achieving. SharedImpact believes that social investments such as this should be easily accessible to everyone.”
