Maintaining a tenancy

Our specialist landlord services include ongoing support to maintain a tenancy  

  • Working jointly with the tenants and their support network to deal with disputes between tenants or neighbours.

  • Providing support to understand the rights and responsibilities of being a tenant.

  • Ensuring tenants and their support network know how to report a repair to their landlord and the response times.

  • Arranging adaptations or repairs on behalf of tenants that are not the responsibility of the landlord - a charge may be payable for these types of repairs or .adaptations.  

  • Working with the tenants and their support network to carry out a re-assessment of housing needs if the property no longer meets their needs and provide ongoing advice or assistance that may be required when considering future housing options.

  • Continually developing our specialist accessible materials to help all tenants understand the services and support provided by Golden Lane Housing.

  • Providing an explanation of fixtures and appliances to tenants and their support network.
