Home ownership
Owning your own home is closer than you think.
GLH believes that people with a learning disablity should have the same rights as everyone else to different types of housing, including the option to purchase their own home.
Enabling people to use both family money and mortgage arrangements to own all or part of their own home is one of our ways to make this a reality for people.
People with a learning disability are often able to get an interest only mortgage paid for by their benefits.
We are currently developing ways that we can make shared ownership more accessible and sustainable for people with a learning disability. If you would like to book an appointment to talk to one of our housing experts please contact us,
